Your team ships slower than it should. I help you understand why, and change it.

I embed with your team to understand how you build software, find the bottlenecks, and execute an improvement plan together — including AI, thoughtfully and without compromising quality.

Sound familiar?

For CEOs

As the product grows, the team takes longer and longer to ship new features.

I feel our company isn't making the most of AI's potential.

The product's quality isn't what I expect.

For CTOs

We know we need metrics, but we don't have the time to produce them.

I have a list of improvement initiatives to launch, but no time to lead them.

My team needs training to learn to use AI with good judgement.

If you recognize yourself in any of these situations, keep reading to see how I work and help companies facing similar challenges.

How I work

Diagnosis of your current delivery system

3 weeks

I analyse how your team builds software (process, tools, delivery) to understand the bottlenecks and identify improvement opportunities. Deliverable: an executive report, a prioritised 90-day roadmap and a presentation session with your leadership team.

Guided implementation

3+ months

I guide and support the team (from the inside) in executing the roadmap iteratively, training the team, making changes to the processes and measuring results. Outcome: a delivery system in continuous improvement.

Ongoing support as a Fractional CTO

if you need reinforcement in your technical leadership

I support the CTO or the CEO on an ongoing basis, with strategy, launch and follow-up of new improvement and AI adoption initiatives.

About me

Gerónimo Di Pierro

I have spent 18 years building software and 10 leading teams, the last 3 as a fractional CTO for companies such as Logalty. I have worked at companies like Amadeus and Dive.tech, and built projects for Vodafone, Orange and LaLiga.

I have led team transformations: from on-prem to the cloud, from waterfall to agile and, now, in AI adoption. I see teams as a system combining people, processes, methodologies and tools. Transformations do not happen overnight: they need committed leaders, support and training for the people, time to experiment, and metrics that provide an objective view.

I am hands-on: I like to get into the weeds and understand problems in detail, because that is what enables better decisions by anticipating their impact. I also build and maintain open source projects such as EmailOps, an AI email client that runs 100% locally.
